VOUS College is a ministry of VOUS Church. Southeastern University (Lakeland, FL) partners with VOUS Church to host an instructional site on the church campus, and offer students affordable degree programs.

During your time at VOUS College, you will not only gain practical ministry experience at VOUS Church, but you will also have the opportunity to pursue a degree from Southeastern University.

These programs include roughly 60 credit hours of classroom work including 12 credit hours of practicum for VOUS Church (6 credit hours a year) over the course of the program.

Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. VOUS College is not accredited by SACS Commission on Colleges and the accreditation of Southeastern University does not extend to or include VOUS College or its students. Students must be admitted by Southeastern University and enrolled in university courses to receive the benefits of regional accreditation.

This immersive training goes beyond curriculum to develop talent, leadership, character and community that will prepare you to lead the next generation. Through this hands-on ministry training, you will gain practicum credit toward your degree program.

The vision for Vous Church emerged out of the weekly gathering of The Rendezvous in Miami Gardens. The mission is to create a church in Downtown Miami that would be a home to all ages and represent the diversity of our beautiful city. We believe in the next generation and value the wisdom and guidance of those that have gone before us.


What is VOUS College?

VOUS College is 2 year program partnered with Southeastern University to offer an Associate of Arts (AA) or an Associate of Ministerial Leadership (AML) degree. Combined with this, students will be immersed in the culture of VOUS Church and gain practical ministry experience.


When can I apply?

VOUS College offers rolling admission meaning that you are able to apply to either the Spring or Fall semesters.


What does the application process look like?

Each student must fill out an online application at vouscollege.com. Once that is complete, the VOUS College team will reach out to schedule a video or in person interview.  If a student is accepted, they must also apply to Southeastern University and be accepted by them to be fully accepted at VOUS College.


What do I receive if I finish?

After successfully completing VOUS College you will have gained valuable hands on ministry experience as you serve at VOUS Church.  Not only that but after  two years of study you are eligible to receive an Associate of Arts (AA) or an Associate of Ministerial Leadership (AML).


What is the cost of VOUS College?

The cost of VOUS College is correlated on how many credits each student takes.  Please visit vouscollege.com to find a cost estimator.


Who is teaching the classes?

Southeastern University will provide online classes for students, however VOUS College will teach live courses as well.  This will allow for students to work on class work at the times that work best for them, yet get a full college experience.


Who is VOUS College for?

VOUS College is for any student ages 18-25. It is for all young people, whetheryou feel called to full time ministry or if you want to make a difference in the marketplace.


What does a typical schedule look like?

VOUS College will operate four days a week where students will be immersed in the culture of VOUS Church, gain practical ministry experience and work towards an associates degree. Students will have Friday’s and Saturday’s off. In addition to this, students will be required to serve on Sunday’s at VOUS Church as part of their course.


Is this an accredited program?

Yes, VOUS College is partnering with Southeastern University and Southeastern University is an accredited university and is authorized to award associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctorate degrees.


Is housing available?

Housing is available for men and women at an additional cost.


Do I get to focus on a certain track?

Yes. Each student will have the opportunity to focus on either Kids, Operations, Creative, Production or Worship Tracks. However, throughout the duration of your time at VOUS College, you will gain experience in more than one track.


How long is the program?

VOUS College is a 2 year program.


Does the college offer financial aid or student loans?

Because Southeastern University is a regionally accredited institution, its partnership with VOUS College enables enrolled students to pay for their college experience using federal financial aid. To be eligible for such funding, the student must file an Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as a FAFSA and maintain 12 credit hours each semester.


Will credits from other college’s transfer or can I transfer credits from VOUS College to another college?

Yes! Each school varies, but most general and some spiritual classes will transfer in or transfer out to other schools, again depending on what the other schools or SEU accepts.
